    Responsibilities

    Do you have a track record of digital media development success, looking for a wider range of digital solutions to sell and a highly trained operations team to support them?

     

    As an Agency New Business Development Rep you will be at the forefront of media technology revolution! This position puts you in a pivotal role, helping our company continue to transform.

     

    Our Agency New Business Reps are business development specialists selling local & network digital media capabilities to medium-large sized businesses.

     

    Under direction of the Business Development Director, the Agency New Business is responsible for new business development selling local & network digital marketing capabilities to medium – large sized local businesses. They also serve as the digital account expert for all campaign-related inquiries on designated advertising team. Primary goal is to build a territory to increase sales revenue while maximum advertising revenues for the company and maximum results for the advertiser. Job focus is prospecting for new business.

     

    Major Functions:

    • Establishes and spends time developing new business based on goals set quarterly.
    • Accountable for results including achieving revenue goals using a consultative approach.
    • Strengthens and maintains account list communications via in-person calls and on the phone, is a good listener and persuasive selling of the value of Adtaxi & O&O solutions.
    • Audits own performance by comparing performance data against established standards and reviews progress with their sales manager. Takes corrective action as warranted.
    • Liaison between account & internal Operations support staff advising on customer's creative concepts & promotional calendars as needed.
    • Commits to professional development. Analyzes barriers to effective individual performance; decides and takes action to improve individual performance.
    • Builds effective customer relations and service methods by seeing to it that focus of the sales process is the customer and that any customer issues are resolved within the requirements of our company policies.
    • Directs campaign set up, defines & communicates strategies, monitors campaigns with Operations support and knows account advertising placed in competing media.
    • Accountable for use of all sales resources including marketing, research and sales training with intent to support the sales process and as needed by these business categories.
    • Uses CRM &/or excel/Sheets to track and analyze customer business, communicate with customer contract performance and strategize for upsell targets w/in existing accounts.
    • Negotiates contracts with skill and efficiency to maintain or grow annual business without the risk of expired contracts & monitors on going contract performance.
    • Communicates with customers via strategic meetings and presents month end results reporting for presentations to customers.
    • Facilitates educational seminars w/ corporate &/or franchise customers as needed.

    Qualifications

    • 2 - 5+ years of selling experience required. Digital selling experience preferred: display, SEM/SEO, email, mobile, social media, video, ecommerce, etc.
    • Proven track record of revenue goal achievement in B to B sales.
    • New business development and some digital sales or marketing experience strongly preferred.
    • High School diploma required. College degree preferred.
    • Intermediate or better computer skills including all Microsoft Office Suite (in particular, Excel & PPT)
    • Valid driver’s license

    This position will work and reside in Fargo, ND. and report into Adtaxi's offices in St. Paul, MN.
